WHO??

My name is Lexi, I'm a musician and student currently working on getting my shit together!

What is this place??

This is a place for me to post my shit!
I'm looking to upload my thoughts on any peices of media I experience as a way to more actively engage with what I see day to day,
as well as dumping anything I make here in the music section! I would appreciate any constructive feedback about my work, both creative and critical,
just as soon as I get this formatting thing down!

How are you doing this?

Good question!
I will link my music wherever I end up sending it, that is all to be decided!
in terms of reviewing other's works, however, I will work on the classic 10 point scale, HOWEVER!!!! not for quality, as such, but for how much it effected me!
for your bearings:

rating meaning example
0-3 I am unefected by it's existence, I am not aware of it in the slightest. watermellon sugar - Harry styles
4-6 I was mildly effected by this peice of media
at most, it strongly efects me whilst I sit through it.
This encompasses the vast majority of media I sit through. there is no one exemplar of this catagory.
on the low end, there could be something like a TED talk on a topic I don't really care about.
on the high end, would be something more akin to my favourite book series growing up,
something that, whilst I had it, effected me greatly, but now, I don't need it, or don't want it.
7-9 A peice of media that effects me this much is something I not only think about whilst experiencing it,
but a piece that drags my mind back around to thinking about it whenever I have a quiet moment.
An example of this would be something like Death Stranding, a phenominal game,
whose world sometimes gets me to speculate on where my plavce would be in it.
10 This is a peice of media which has made itself a part of my person, has shaped the kind of dog I am today.
This spot is reserved for the song that I would play at my funeral, or the movie that I watch on the first day of a lifetime with someone.
The muppets christmas carol is here.
An(other) example of this would be Bridget Guilty Gear, whose theme and arcade mode ending make me swell up with tears almost every time.
I may not be just like her frfr, BUT, she is the reason I was able to come out to myself. (yes I am aware I'm talking about funny yo-yo girl.)
